Have fun while learning Spanish through music, games and discussion, in a relaxed environment.
"TERTULIAS: "HIGH INTERMEDIATE READING DISCUSSION GROUPS:
FRIDAY EVENING TERTULIA:
"Tertulia Olé" Friday evenings, beginning at 6:00CLASSES:
1st and 3rd Friday of each month, 6:00-9:00 pm
(For months with 5 Fridays, an extra class will be held on the 4th Friday.) Tuition: $10 per hour attended + cost of any new books
FILMS: On the 2nd Friday of the month, we show a film in Spanish followed by a discussion in Spanish and English. Complimentary (or donation to "Days For Girls"), 6:00 until the end of the discussion.
"AMIGOS":
The last Friday of every month is dedicated to practicing both Spanish and English with the local Spanish-speaking community, 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Complimentary (or donation).
MONDAY AFTERNOON TERTULIA: 1:00 - 4:00 pm
TUITION: $10 per hour + cost of any new books
LOCATION:
Ode To Learning, 519 S. First Street, downtown Mount Vernon. Street parking is limited to three hours, but you may park for an unlimited time in the lots provided along the river front and use the side door at 401 Myrtle Street.
